4. Eat a balanced diet

Patients are advised to drink fluoridated water since doing that ensures the teeth are getting enough fluoride.

Calcium is another mineral that is important for healthy teeth, and it can be found in a wide range of consumables from dairy products to green, leafy vegetables. Calcium helps to keep teeth and bone structures strong.

5. Visit a dentist twice a year

Regular visits to the dentist are just as important as practicing good oral hygiene. It gives the dentist regular opportunities to inspect the patient's teeth and look for signs of developing problems. The dentist will also perform a cleaning and remove tartar accumulation on the patient's teeth. This goes a long way when it comes to keeping tooth decay and gum disease at bay.
